They sell amazing corn and apples and doughnuts. Go here to the field for corn in the summer or the barn for fresh apples, cider and doughnuts in the fall.
Besides being partially unintelligible, the recording didn't say anything about the petting zoo, etc. I posted this question on Facebook on Thurs. - have yet to receive a response... Nothing was opened besides donuts & cider. Apparently, customer service is not even on the radar of the Long's owners.
We went with our 3 yrs. old grandson this past Thurs. On the website it said the play area was closed, so we knew that. We figured we would go to the petting zoo & buy pumpkins in addition to cider & donuts.
I called to verify if the petting zoo was opened because it didn't say anything about it on their website. I also wanted to know what the price was for apples by the bushel. I discovered that there is absolutely NO way to contact a human at Long's. There is only a recording & if that does not address your questions - tough luck.
Cups were $0.75/4. I asked & the woman said everyone was always asking for big cups so now they sell them. Oh, genius idea - leave out the small cups for free & offer the larger ones for sale. The final straw was that there were no napkins! We were told there was a water spigot on the side - gee, that's convenient.
No human contact & no FB response. We will not return & will spread the word as far & wide as we can. (Long's owners should note that all the negative reviews are from this year)
